Welcome!!
Hello Ladies, I would just like to say welcome to "Empowerment One Page at a Time". I am overly excited about the future of this online book club. It was placed on my heart to do this some time ago. I pray that this book club allows woman all over the U.S. to be united and empowered. The first book will be "Purpose Driven Life". Some of you may have read this book. If you have; I'm sure you will agree that it is one that could be read over and over again. In the meantime, please post book suggestions here and we will conduct a group vote to decide the next book. Tentative start date will be July 15, 2012. This will depend on a variety of things(getting everyone together, everyone selecting purchasing their book, etc...). I would like everyone to start the book at the same time. DeleteWow I can't believe it either almost at the end . It has been an awesome experience .In chapter 35 Warren talk about power in weakness he said sometimes you might feel vulnerable when you share your fears or weakness, but do you want to impress people or influence them .I like the part were he talk about Jacob wrestling with God and how when he touch his thigh he touch his strength.His strength turn to weakness .God did it so he could continue to lean on him . So the weakness in our live's and struggles we face is there so we don't get beside ourselves and feel like we don't need him .IT's there so we can continue to rely and trust in him. I have really enjoyed this journey. Oh another thing lol in chaper 37 he mentioned how his father was dying with cancer and how weak he was and how he kept trying to get out of bed and saying I have to win one more soul for Jesus that brought tears to my eyes . It prink my heart, because I have to be more passionate about winning souls that's one of my mission in christ. Wow wow awesome that's all I have to say! :) I pray you all have a bless week hugs :) Shamya
